Col Shana Peck - Texas Leader in Military Operations and Safety

Col Shana Peck is an experienced operations and safety leader who has worked in the military in a variety of locations, including Texas. Her career spans almost three decades of military and civilian service. She oversaw all aspects of readiness for a 15,000-soldier tank division. Former Texas resident Col Shana Peck ensured all units complied with training, combat certification, and reporting requirements to the Chief of Staff of the Army.

In 2016, she served as brigade commander of the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command in Fort Bliss, Texas. In this role, she led 3,500-member air and missile defense brigade. Between 2015 and 2016, she was chief of staff of the same command. She played a key role in ensuring deployment certifications and maintaining readiness across geographically dispersed units. Her ability to align multiple operational priorities strengthened organizational performance and improved compliance with regulatory requirements.

Following her military career, Col Peck leveraged her safety expertise into a civilian role as a safety specialist in higher education operations. In 2019, she worked as a safety specialist at Texas Tech University. In this capacity, she conducted inspections, developed training programs, investigated incidents, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.
